A note to all that have and will visit me in my studio!

I'm sure you are wondering what sets me apart from the rest. Well, as I sit here finishing the end of a very long day I think that it's time to tell you.

So let's start with the Big Box store, you know the one that you can get everything at? They charge from 12.99 - 7.99 for a package of pictures. You make a appt with them during their business hours which means no late night appointments. Then you get there and take 5 - 10 poses that you get no say so in. They don't check your hair or little bobby for nose boogies. Then you go back in 6 weeks to pickup a package of pictures that cost a arm and leg if you want the good one that wasn't in your package pose. Then you are told not to copy them and not to upload them online. Sound like fun?

At Ruth's Photography we cater to you the client! First off we know that not everyone is a wiz in the hair and makeup department. We use professional or professional grade cosmetics with professional brushes. We apply it as you want it. Have no idea how you want it? Ruth's photography has internet and we can find a picture of something you like and attempt to copy it as best as we can. We also curl hair and straighten hair with high grade professional salon quality products and tools. Bring us a picture of your cousin Sue and we can try to get your hair as close as your cut allows.

We also have a small but ever growing collection of custume wear for men, women and children. We know not everyone wants to spend $50 on a dress to have thier pictures taken in. Why go buy vintage cufflinks to have your picture taken in? We have those things here. When making an appt just tell us what you would like us to provide for you and in what sizes. We can't promise to cater to everyone right away but that eventually it is our goal and we will keep you updated as that happens.

From personal experience we know that not everyone is available Mon - Friday 10am - 8pm. Why should you be? You have a life, too! You have kids, jobs, families and houses. Let us take your photo at 3am if that is when it serves you the best! Late nights and obsured hour appointments are always welcomed!

Why should your photos look like they were posed straight out of the 70's? Unless of course you want them to look like that. We can do almost anything you want! Dark and mysterios. Bright and funky. Odd angles and list goes on and on. Seen one somewhere else? Show it to me and we can do the best we can to do something similiar but still keep it unique for you.
